super ugly? are you kidding me? Plexi has about the same resonance qualities as mdf. if that box is sealed up nice it will have no noticeable difference to the mdf counterpart. Id rather have a box of plexi...but its expensive.

This kid is a genious...I't ugly...

It looks like you can see some glue or something in the seams where the pieces are glued together. Also having the speaker wire terminal where it is also looks incredibly dumb. x2 on the stupid JL thing.

On a serious note, that box is a bit excessive, in other words it to flashy/gaudy.
