I have 2 MTX 6000 12" subs in a sealed box. I know, they rn't the best....i wish i would have found this site b4 i bought them. BUT i just got my JBL 600.1, thanks to peeps from here.....and i got it in and i'm afraid to push my subs too hard. They are rated at 250rms a piece, and r wired to a 2ohm load. How do i know how much power is going to them.....i only have my gain a little over half and my bass boost less than half. NE help? thanx

I think you should be ok, as long as you not beating the crap out of the subs with the amp cranked up, you should be fine, that amp is not pushing 300watts per channel constantly, so you should be fine, if you were running 2 times the power then I would be worried

thanx

but......i know to go easy on the gain, but how far can i push it. I wanna be giving the subs the most power i can, but not blow them. is there a way i can know how much power they are getting......how hard can i push them
