Too much power to type X?

I just bought a Planet Audio 2250d amp. I don't know the exact RMS power at 2 ohms but can someone tell me how much it is and if it would be too much power to send to a single type x in a sealed enclosure?

Also, i have a stock electrical system and don't plan to play the sub or amp to the full limit. is 1500 too much for a type x?

as long as your gains are adjusted right it's fine.

You're not gonna blow a type-x with a stock electrical system, period.

Has anyone here blown one yet? I haven't heard of anyone trying to max a type-x out..... who knows what it would take

my stock alternator apparently is a 136 amp alternator. i'm not sure if thats true or not, but i looked for a stock replacement and it was rated at 136 amps. The type x is a 12 also. Would it be worth it to spend around 300 or so more to get a second sub?

2 ohm rating is 1500...you'll be fine unless your burping it 24/7

i understand but 1000+ wrms is good for a sealed sub
