I have a RF P1000bd amp. It's rated at 1,000 watts at 1 ohm. I've heard of birthsheets showing it rated as much as 1,200-1,300 watts. I was wondering if you guys think this would be too much for one 12" Skar VVX? The sub is rated at 600 warts RMS but I've heard people say it likes power and heard of people giving it as much as 1,000 watts. My other option is to go with two 12s. Or maybe run a single sub at 2 ohms. Any opinions? Appreciate the help.
