Too much for the SX's?

SEs, i didnt like the SX and it didnt handle the power 2 well for daily on music. had 2 turn it down like 1min into the song becuz of stinky woofer. i'd go wit the SEs.

I'd say SE's too...

check the sig 2 15's sx with a viper in an explorer sport...loud as hell.

blazer says that they get stinky, and i agree, but IMO its the glue burning off because after a while of hard bumping it went away and from then on ive played sweeps, test tones, and songs that have nothing but sweeping basslines with no smell, for many many months afterwards...and i was in my car for HOURS at a time, hell i wasted 3/4 of a tank once just driving around listening to my music on full blast, never to smell that smell again

so in conclusion: 2 15" sx with 1 amp to each sub will work fine, you WILL smell the glue, do NOT freak out, keep bumping and it WILL GO AWAY never to bother you again no matter how long you keep the subs. trust me.

My SXs before recone were taking 2000w daily.

And no, they were not reconed because of that.

It was because they had a run in with a pair of colossus

well of course i wasnt, but thats not the point. the point is he is running an amp that puts out "1200" watts, and i was sending mine "1250", impedance rise and all that depending on box (of course i did not test it but i believe mine was really low since my box was favored to it) so wouldnt it be fair to say, the sx's will be fine?

rise is always an issue, normally your impedence will *at least* double as an average around your tuning... and of course the big fat spike at tuning.

I doubt you were sending each woof more than 750, and on most music, they probably never even saw that.
