I really dont know what to buy, and anything I want isn't available in Australia!

I'm looking for a single 12inch sub, that will handle 1000watts rms minimum...

I was considering the Pioneer TS-W3001D4, which can be had new for about $AU340

1000watts rms, blah blah, however, the VAS is only 11.8litres, and the efficiency seems to be about 80dB... wtf man!

Then, there was a Cadence BM12-1C, which I could get one for around $AU400 second hand, it meets my box criteria, and is rated at 1500watts rms, but someone told me they were crap...

or, I've just come across an RE XXX 12inch, second hand, for $AU800, but thats $300 more than my budget! and for a second hand sub... (older model one)

yea no kidding, surely there are some other shops around that you could find something better at, but for the extra money over the other two choices, that XXX is worth it.

Umm... no... next on my list was a Type R or Type X...

I refuse to use DD...

Apparently I could get a Treo, but haven't really looked into them yet, or a Fusion might be alright...

edit: I reckon I'll just buy the Beat Master... its cheap, high power handeling, and I dont really care about sound quality anyway...

Def. look into Treo subs, best of what you listed.

I had the Premier 3004 (Model before the pioneer u have posted). It sounded good and got fairly loud, but isn't on the same level as the others.

As for the cadence, a friend of mine had two 15's of theirs. Not that model, believe they are 1 or 2 notches below, rated at 750rms each or so. Got loud, sq was iffy. the MTX 9500 will get loud as hell, so will the HCCA.

The treo's not bad at all but not going to be as loud as a few of the others. I say 9500, XXX, or HCCA any of those will rock your car:veryhapp:
