Too Many Batteries???

Science is everything
I am on to my new build. I have a 00 Toyota 4Runner I just picked up. I just stripped my big brothers old comp car and plan on using the batteries and 0/1 from it. The car has 9 new batts. They are unmarked but have a white housing and a red top. They appear to be deep cycle marine batts. At the moment all I have is 2 2500d. I plan on putting a 250A-300A alt in it. How many batteries should I really have in there for each amp. I was thinking just two for each amp that way I could have 5 to sell. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I say 4 on each, since you did say " for now" as far as what amps you are going to use.

This will aid in future upgrades to larger amps. You wont have to worry about adding more when that time comes. Not to mention. You can never have to much juice available for your amp/s.

you would only need about 4 in my opinion. but if your going to run db drag you are limited on batts unless you do only bassrace. maybe i will see you next summer. i will be in appleton a lot next year competing.

Nah, this is just to run my daily driver efficiently. This summer I'm going back to work and with all the money from that, I will build a new comp vehicle. I think I'm going with civic hatch but I got a ways down the road until that comes up.
