too many amps?

hey guys, im wondering, have you ever heard of anyone having 3 or more amps off a stock alternator? heres what i have:

-big three, in 4 AWG

-kicker 850.2 (im running it at 425 RMS X 2) (3 40 amp fuses)

-JL Audio 75.6 (75 RMS X 6) (one 60 amp fuse)

-75 AMP Stock Alternator

-2 capacitors, (one=1 farad, one = .5 farad)

was thinking of getting the kenetic HC600 battery. would it help my setup? or hurt it? i currently experience almost no dimming, and no voltage drop. but i want to get another amp pushing at max 500RMS. think my wrx can handle it?

Get rid of those corny caps get a second battery upgrade your alternator and you should be fine.

I think you must not be a cranker cause thats a hell of a load for your puny alternator. doable yes, but you should upgrade to 1/0 ga wire from the batteryto the back where your amps are. capacitors do not help in the dimming game unless you hook em' right up to the headlights. adding another battery is gonna crush that Alt. i used to run the gear in my sig with a stock 130 and I was on the edge for sure.

The caps are just useless junk sell them to some fool on craigslist and a real battery for the back. I was running 2600 rms off a stock Subaru 75 amp alt with 2 runs of 2/0 a stock front batt and 2 group 31's in the trunk I never dropped under 12.5 at idle and never dropped below 13's while moving.

id rather not upgrade my alternator because of all the horror stories i hear from people lol, anyways where is a good place to find a good one?

I'm not sure about horror stories with upgrading an alt, it pretty common the only problem is going to be able to find an affordable one for a wrx. Lots of good companies out there that make them though. Dc, mechman are a couple good ones but for the amount of power your running a couple good batts should do the trick.

so throwing another battery in the back wont "crush" my alternator as stated in one comment above?
