Tonights going to BLOW....

Did you check the A/C unit out at all, is it froze up? if so you may have a leak in the piping or the A-coil, or you could have simply a plugged up water drain, sometimes rust piles up in there. if your main unit is froze up you might be able to turn the ac off but keep the fan on to thaw the ice then maybe turn it on again and repeat that process till the repair guy gets out.

I had a leak in my A-Coil but i was able to keep my house somewhat cold turning the AC on for an hour then off for 2 hours. and just alternating that basically turning it off when it freezes up and on when it thaws. LOL i left my fridge and mini fridge open for periods of time too haha I'll use everything at my disposal, even considered tubing air from my car.

Motors not siezed up, just the fan doesn't turn on its own. I think the coil went.

You poor bro?
Negative Ghostrider, shit breaks.....units less than 5 years old.

i know that the blower wasnt working in my unit ,which is in the attic, and i decided to take the panel off for the breaker (power off of course) to see what was going on/check see if i had a bad breaker in there,,dug a little further into the breaker box, moved the insulation ect, and found a little 5 amp fuse just as used in vehicles..all i had was a 7.5,put that in there, covered the face of the opening, turned the power on, ran perfect! shut power back down put everything back together, been running just fine for three yrs, no issues.I wonder how much a service call, and a tech putting that in there would have cost me????A little fuse
