A/C fucking went out, hot as fuck still with the windows open.
dont you have fans? I would keep tub full with Ice cold, and take a dip and then try to sleep. If you wake up, do it again. That is the best way. I know first hand that swamp collers **** ***.

In our room and the living room, but none in the kids room. Thought we had a portable but I can't find it. No swamp coolers here.

Opps, I ment swamps cooler dont help either. Run to wally world and get some fans. We have a fan for every room for this reason. We also keep a certified AC repair guy chained up in the shed for times like this too.

that ******* *****.

Do what we did.

1 cooler

1 garden pond pump

fan (we used a small generator to power it)

2 rad hoses

2ltr bottles of ice

Fill the cooler up with water, add bottles of ice. turn on pump and let it pump the cold water through the rad while the fan blows the cold air into the house.

rotate frozen bottles to keep water cold every 30 min. It dropped living room temp from 82 to 73. We did this when we had a electrical fire and couldnt turn the house power on for a few days. Maybe this is a bit much lol.

i have a ceiling fan in every room..60inchers..learned my lesson when we hit some record highs..get everyone in one room, and see if you can find a store that still sells dry ice..get a block, put it in a cooler/poor a little water over it place it in front of a window, and put a fan on high in front of that..it will/should last all night..my grandpa use to throw one in a water cooler window unit twice a day in the 100* temps.and we would all sleep in the living room, keep all doors closed/sheets on windows to keep sun out.I lived in el paso when i was a kid, so i know how hott it can get where you are at..we had no a/c units in 84 there, but all the houses had water coolers on the roofs like a/c units..dry ice..some grocery stores still carry it here like brookshires..

Heh I lived in EP for 12 years, moved away recently. I remember I always thought that it "couldn't be that much hotter in AZ" but when I went to Phoenix in July one summer for a few days, I was **** it really is hotter. EP is definitely HOT, but I don't think it compares to AZ
