Toasted, need new subs now.

Well, I knew they were garbage but man they didnt last long. Last weekend finally installed my zx750.1, my 1/0 Hyperflex kit, and did the big 3. These Kenwood subs sounded so much better I kept the gain down knowing the 750 would kill'em. I thought maybe they would last longer than they did. Just the one sub burnt up and boy did it stink!

So, I am looking still for different subs but I just dont have any time to meddle on which ones anymore because its drivin me nuts not having anything. I just cant decide on what to get. Im leaning towards Diamonds and if I get them I dont know if I should get the D3 or D6. The price is not a problem I just dont know if the zx750.1 would be enough power for the 2 D6s. I also have been thinkin about JL 10w3v3s.

If anybody has had any experience with these subs I would appreciate your help! I know ive posted similar posts before but I just want to make the right choice and before I wasnt subless! Ha They will be going in a 2cuft ported enclosure. I listen to all different types of music and I like it to sound good so I am an SQ guy.

Either choice you really can't go wrong, IMO.

Diamond's website is not so technical anymore, it's actually lacking quite a bit, but anyway I'll guess that the amp will do about 750 watts rms or so. 300 watts to each 10 should be sufficient, I have no experience with the drivers in question, but I wouldn't imagine the D6s being inefficient at all.

Either get two D3s or a single D6 15. the D6 can take 1000w RMS daily no problem as long as you don't clip the signal.

get some TC 1000's > W3's or D3's (I would imagine)

They would be a HUGE improvement over you kenwoods. Just call TC and have them delivered to your door (DONE)

If you're going the TC route, you might as well pick up one of those tastey new TC10 OEMs:yumyum:
