The only reason im asking is because i heard that the q likes alot more then 1000watts and im getting the alpine mrd-m1005. Also, the q is a sq subwoofer and the ssd is more spl but im wondering if the ssd even though its on the spl side would it still sound better than the pioneer ts-w3004spl.

you could always go for the ssd with the coper coil

The SSD with BP Power (supposed to allow additional couple hundred watts) would likely work well for you.

Alright now im leaning towards the ssd when i was just about to order the q.

I was wondering if you guys could point out the pros n cons of the ssd over the q.

Price isnt really an issue thats y is such a tough desicion.

1. ssd more output?

2. big difference in sq from the q?

Also, would the ssd out perform the q if i added BP power and copper coil?

I have the specs on both and was wondering the pros and cons the ssd has over the q.

that Q has some nice X-max, I would take the Q anyday, but I like my subs to sound good (play music not test tones) not just loud....

thats why i suggested the copper coil.. youll get sq closer to the q and at least equal spl for less money.
