To Amp or Not

Ok I have a stock system. Im not sure what HU or 6*9's they are but I want to replace them. There are 4 6*9's and I want to know if it would be good to amp them. I am going to probably have to build the bank up a bit after so I want some good sound(I LOVE BASS). So any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

You could amp them if you like, they will deffinetally sound better than with the HU. If you love bass, you will need to add a sub.
Any speaker suggestions I want to have quality before i buy subs and i cant do both at the same time.

no ive heard there pioneers right know it actually plays pretty good the way it is decent bass it really doesnt distort till i get to the top end. I am looking to upgrade them. this is the only car that ive heard of haveing 4 6*9's pioneer stock in before i like them but want to get an edge.

So the RMS power handling is 100watts then. Dont ever listen to the peak power rating. Mine are 50watts RMS and 260watts peak and with the 50watts I am giving them they sound great. Know that the power from the HU is nowhere near what it says it puts out.

sorry to thread jack but sort of on the topic, how would i find out the rms on my accord's stock speakers? also for what you said up there, if you get an amp with too much power can't you just keep the gains low? or would it still hurt the speakers
