i had a 97 2door 2wd 4.3L. the thing ran like a champ. the 4.3L is a strong motor. gas mileage is nothing to write home about, but wasn't terrible. i got mine when it was 2 years old. i drove it for 3 years. didn't have any mechanical issues until 150k miles when i traded it in for my jeep. one thing you will learn to hate is the interior panels rattle like crazy. some dampening will certainly be in order.

i put a dynomax exhaust and a 2" body lift and 30s on mine.

i wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy one. solid, tough, strong running truck. take care of it and it will do the same for you.

Jesus, what do you do work down the street or something? I work 10 mins away now and have only had my new car 7 months and I am right at 12000 miles, lol! Get out more mang! I also have two vechichles, lol! I rarely drive the other one. Waiting till spring so I can sell it.

I have a 1989 s-10 blazer and it has treated me well. I have a 4.3 T.B.I it has 2hundered and 90thousand miles on it so you tell me. But i have also replaced alot of things but everything can't last forever. But all in all it is a good choice.

i might be getting a used 1995 blazer 2wd with the 4.3 v6 in it. i wanted to know how your blazer has treated you, reliability, mpg, easy audio installations, anything. you feedback is much appreciated

I had a 87 s-10 with a 2.8 and i had nothing but problems with it. Engine just ran like poop. Had a great stereo in it though, and its easy as all hell to work on
