Time to say goodbye to what was probably the loudest 94 Audi S4 in the world...

Wow, you can really tell your gonna miss this car, I hate you gotta get rid of it because of so many problems caused by so many other people. It would be different if you had hot rodded it everywhere and generally kept it a state of disrepair, but you didn't, you took very good car of it. This is one of my reasons I never let other mechanics touch my vehicles. Lots of people don't have that option though, and have to trust someone else for repair needs. Have you decided on which type of vehicle you plan to replace it with?
For sure. I took EXCELLENT care of the car. Luckily, the second mechanic I stumbled into is an independent mechanic, and his project car is my car! I completely trust him, and he's cheaper than anyone else!

I'm looking to replace it with something I like that is cheap to work on, like a Mustang Fox, Celica All-trac, Mkii Celica Supra, etc.

ummm couple things.. car is ugly.. looks like a p.o.s saab 9.4.. secondly.. stop buying used cars if you can't inspect them cause you will get butt fucked.. stop buying used cars in general they have no warranty.. stop buying cars that cost an arm and a leg to repair when a domestic would cost $100 or so.. can't think of anything else at the moment.. Or maybe you just can't upkeep your vehicles idk... I got my first car.. 2001 nissan altima from my mom as I knew how she drove/maintained it I put maybe $1k in repairs over the 4 years I owned it.. and My second vehicle I bought from someone I know and it only had 30k getting the extended warranty up to 125k on it..

But after all that.. I can feel your pain.. I still have my first car.. Idk if I can get rid of it.. I kept that car pristine for the most part.. every scratch I would find kinda killed me inside.. from a door ding or rock chip.. I spent some time on that car.. LOTS and LOTS of hours, sweat, probably a little blood from dampener lol
If you think it's ugly, that's your thing. I appreciate how classy the car is, it's very understated and respectful. An excellent car to surprise ricers and musclecars with. I did get it inspected before I bought it...Mechanics cannot inspect an oil pump without taking it out, which would have cost me thousands of dollars. It just randomly failed, and I immediately turned off the car to prevent further internal engine damage. My plan is to not buy another expensive to maintain car again until I have money saved up, that was the underlying issue with the car (I did have money saved up, but when my job fell through, I had no income to sustain myself). I take extremely good care of my car...Hell I've washed the car in the rain! I keep up with oil changes, I NEVER boost until I build up oil pressure/coolant temp, I always let the turbo spool down for 30 seconds before I shut the car off if I just had a hard run to prevent the turbine spinning with no oil pressure. I always blip the throttle for downshifts to preserve the clutch, etc. None of these problems were relative to how I take care of the car.

And yeah...I'm the same with my car. I get hella pissed if someone does anything that could potentially damage my car in any way. I'm furious if something gets scratched, scuffed, etc. I LOVE my car.

too attached to my car to ever sell it...if it breaks and i don't have the cash at the time/if it's unreasonably expensive to fix it, then it's going to sit there for years until I can afford to fix it. /horder
on a side note this is why I had to choose a chevy over a volvo (Saw some of the repair costs and said fvvvvvvvvck that)

good looking car though. If you were keeping it, I'd say drop the ride height a little to give it some moar s3xy
For sure. That was a future plan, lower it and throw on some RS4 rims that my mechanic was selling on tires for $600. I never got the money to do so obviously lol

I know they feeling man. Had similar problems with my 1988 BMW 528e. When the registration is up next it's getting turned in to the smog program here where they will give me $1000 for retiring a mass polluter. ***** is just too expensive to keep fixing things on it. Wonderful car though.
