time to move on...need help

well last night i was pushing my type s much harder then i should have. setting the gains very aggressive and feeding it 600 rms which is double its rated rms. and yes i blew it last nite //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif . so now i need help choosing a new sub. 1 or 2 12's is what im looking for and im thinking somewhere in the range of 60 spl/ 40 sq. the sub(s) will be ran off a alpine mrd-605 and its 600m@2ohms. the budget is 150-200$.

edit: almost forgot, the box will be 1.25 cubes sealed

i am a hardcore fan of dd 1500 series if you want something small but will beat your brains out that is the way to go.

yea i just looked at the dd 1000 series and from a quick glance liked the specs. thanks for the quick reply autofanaticrx7. any other suggestions out there?

they have the ability to get loud and sound great doing so. 600 watts would be great for them
