ok so here it is..the final choices...i can get any of the above listed...i listen to alot of rock and quite a bit of rap...i just want to know which would sound the best and still get about as loud as my old RE SX 15. and still sound a hell of alot better?

I would go with two 10W6v2s ported tuned to 32 hz.

If it was me I'd do the single W7. But I've never really liked JL so yeah.

id take the 12W7.

mine has excellent SQ IMO

its **** loud too. (144.1 @ 38hz.) in my old box.

the new one is louder, just have to get it metered.

w6's ported are very nice. had a 12 ported 2years ago. it got loud but **** did it sound great. good luck

my 3 10" assasins ****ing slam. deffinetly up there with the brahma/1200.1 setup i had. and there only getting 225 a peice! i honestly cant believe the output to power ratio its insane

I have 2 12w6v2's. I had them sealed, and recently switched to ported. 1.75 cu ft, tuned to 28hz.

With sealed, the SQ is phenominal, and the SPL is great but over time, I wanted just a bit more. By going ported I noticed a big increase in SPL with the w6's. There was a noticeable decrease in SQ, but not too much. They still sound incredible but I'll be honest, some SQ was sacrificed.

If you are really SQ oriented, I would definitely say stay sealed.

If you are at least 30/70 SPL/SQ, I would say go ported. You will appreciate the extra output.
