Time to install RAAMmat. Man this shit is sticky!

I would agree with Nightfall.

I'd give it an 8 for ease. this shit is sticky and working with large sections can be very difficult. I gave up on that idea because of my trunk shape and have been cutting out smaller size sheets to work with.

If you don't buy a roller to help apply it though it would be way harder.

I went to Home Depot and bought a roller for less than $3

I might add that having to contort my body around my trunk to install this is getting tireing. In fact just climbing in and out of my trunk is getting to my back.

Maybe its ALL install dependent. Apply it sloppily you get sloppy results. Apply it correctly it gives you good results. I'm not claiming to know anything about it since I've always used deadener of the spray type but as with anything in the world of car audio, its all install dependent to a point.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I tihnk you need to read everything in that thread buddy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif 1 person said his melted and everyone said wierd cause they had theirs in for years and live in the desert without melting. The raamat guy even offered to find out what the problem was and make it right. People like you give companies a bad name cause you talk shit without expierience.

OK. I have a heat gun, would that help me out (even though its not cold in Miami).

I doubt you'd really need one in Fl, I didn't need a heat gun while applying my raammat in cali. But it definitely wouldn't hurt to use one.

First of all...........lick me. I never said anything bad about any company in this thread. I was merely trying to remember what someone else had said. And in the post you quoted me on I merely was talking about installs, NOT products. So atleast get it straight before you go charging to the rescue of raamat.

well I used a ENTIRE roll of the stuff on just my trunk and I STILL didn't have enough!! Well I was able to cover 95% or higher so for the most part its good.

I took a ride and it feels way more solid and penetrating than before.

I'll tell ya, this was one HELL of a job and I do not want to do that again any time soon. I'm all beat up from sitting inside the trunk, kneeling inside the trunk and contorting my body. I'm going to sleep well today.

anyway, here are a few pics of the 95-97% finished project:

how do you apply that suff? with a brush?? shit that would have been MUCH easier.

I have to admit it looks shitty though. I prefer the way raammat looks. But once its covered up with a carpet kit it doesn't matter.
