Yep, XXX is looking reaaaaalllly good right about now...

The only reason I'm hesitant is because people are saying 1000w isnt enough, and they need big boxes, etc.

I just want to know how the TDX, the XXX, and the ID MAX compare in the same situation....SPL and SQ wise in a sealed box no bigger than about 1.75 cubes and up to ~1100 w.

They need massive power for max performance but get the info from the horses mouth I am sure RE can tell you how well it will perform with 1100watts. As far as enclosure you want SQ so that means sealed (at least in my limited experience and I love sealed, but that is because I hate farting bass) and there sealed spec is like 1 cubic foot which is tiny. Based on values that I gave concerning certain things XXX's were only nixed from my list of woofers because of price (I am dirt poor).

SX wiill have more output than the XXX with that amount of power. The IDmax is a good choice, XXX/brahma as well. thats what i would go with, dont forgot about SI Magnums either they will be out sometime soon..

The XXX is clearly (imo) the superior sub of the one's you listed. The IDMax is a great sub, as is the TDX Im sure, but like was said, XXX has more displacement, more power handling and less distortion. A no brainer there. But of course, the downside is the XXX is the most expensive sub on the list also.

x^2 on the magnums.... great SQ and still get loud. it will take 1100 watts all day long. mines was running in 1.9ft^3 @ 29 hz and until the amp fried, it was like heaven.

x^3 on the Magnums!! Mine is getting ~1000-1400 watts right now (do to elec system I am sure its not putting out the total 1400 right now) and it is awesome. I love the SQ it gives me. And yes it gets **** loud.

also I think I know where someone might be selling a 15"Mag.
