time to fabricate but need help

Alright guy's i got a 89 mark vii and well if you notice on the older car's the headlight's look like Sh*t compared to the new rides out there like the clear lenses i hate how the lenses on the mark. even if you clean em up etc....... there still not the best. So i was thinking time to fabricate something what if i took off the headlight plastic and used like a plexi glass and used that for the headlight plastic would be brighter to . but here's my crossroad problem how could i form the plexi to fit like stock would any ideas would really appericate?

probably not a good idea. either polish up your old ones. or see if there are some aftermarket glass headlights.

I have been told that if you take a clear headlight, try to remove most of the wires and obviously the bulb, boil it in water, It clears up an ugly, dirty light quite well. Been told this, haven't tried it, just a thought.

Just rub it down with a little caustic soda....

just wetsand the old plastic and finish it up with some chrome polish.. look good as new.

Dont be cheap, buy new bulbs. Lights + heat + plexiglass = melt.
