I'm currently running 2 AB XD844's on a PPI Phantom p1000.1 in a 1.53cuft@32.25 box, but I want more. They get pretty loud, and I like it when people ask where I'm hiding the 15...but I want louder. They are getting 500w each so I don't think I can give them too much more power, I have to back it off as it is on certain songs. I'm having trouble deciding whether to add 2 more and a 2nd p1000.1, add a 2 more and get something bigger(AB ph4000md, PPI BA7000.1?), or go with a single 12 or 15 and keep my current amp. I'm on stock electrical(160a alt, pcm regulated), have the big 3, and I've never dropped below 13.7 with my current setup. I have about 3.5-4 cubes net to work with, but the smaller the better. I like the way the XFL 12 & 15 model out, as well as DC lvl2 12's . I listen to a lot of decaf so I need something that will dig low, but still have decent SQ for country and rock. I'd like to keep it under $500-600 if possible. I'm not really all up on some nuts, so I'm not partial to a specific brand. I prefer to buy new over used. I also have 2 powerbass m12 svc bnib that I picked up on a trade, but I haven't had time to play with them yet. Maybe that would be another option, even though I was planning on putting them into my girls ride. What do you guys think, get loud and drop jaws with 8's or go with a bigger single?
