Threw my box in yesterday.

Hey Audio did you just use regular AutoCAD to do that last drawing with the woofers in the box? Well, that and the pic in ur avatar? Props if you drew that up in CAD:D
I drew it in SolidWorks. I have AutoCad and Inventor, and prefer Inventor... but SolidWorks was installed so I used it. Here's a few other proposed idea's i drew up but shot down, in case you are interested...

Make some 8's and sell them to me:) I've been wanting to play with 6's but they're pricey.
LOL I was thinking 6's... but 8's hmmm...
Well then in that case, you should have went with all Elemental Designs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif

**** dude that hummers sexy
I never knew I wanted one till I drove it. I catch more air jumping it in the dunes than I do with my quad. My brother wont ride with me in it out there anymore. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

wow just wow lol. First as I said before awesome install and an even better place to enjoy it, then ya gotta go and break out the pics of the sweet toys AND THEN to top it all off the incredible renderings. I need to send those along to my architecture friends and see if they can come up with some things for me in solidworks lol. I'm only a cad monkey and can draw plans and 2d stuff pretty good but not soo good in 3d cad.

That hummer and that blazer look to be awesome rides, I can't see having a dull moment driving around in either one.

I started out in AutoCad 2D many years ago. Think AutoCad5. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I was working with it when they changed to 3D, everything in wireframe, it was stone ages. Then the common today solid modelers came out and I thought id died and gone to heaven. 'Working' in SolidWorks or Inventor is like playing a video game, I love it. lol

Thats pretty cool, I remember my dad working in release 9 I think and he gave up on it in release 14 (just drew house plans for his company) I have only really worked with R14, and 2000+ mostly use Land Desktop at the moment for grading designs and such.

How much lift you got on that 72' Blazer and what size are the tires? Making me want to get back to finishing my 86' F250

I hear you there. Ive never messed with SolidWorks but I am very familiar with Inventor. I actually won a copy of AutoCAD and Inventor in a CAD competition at my old school. Inventors the shit!

In class I would just make rims all day in Inventor lol, good job with the sub, thats not too easy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Nope, not making noise yet. lol I still have to order the head... and ebay is void of good deals on them all the sudden (lol figures). Plus box is still out mounting amps and stuff. And now the g/f wants to come over for the afternoon... gah I have 3 more RCA's to finish making. lol This evening for them I guess.

The blazer has 8" springs and 1" ORD zero-rates. I need to add a 2.5" shackle flip in the rear to get rid of the notorious 'blazer squat'. 1-ton axles (D60 + 14bltFF) with rockram/hydraulic-assist steering, 40" TSL's and customized double beadlocks. Bigblock conversion (heavily built 396 out of my chevelle), extra heavy duty TH400 (5-clutch out of a dump truck) and an Atlas II transfer case. That's pretty much the highlights.

The sub would actually have been easier in Invetnor. SolidWorks isn't as good with arrays. Inventor is the shiznit. FYI, if you can run Inventor, you'd pick up SolidWorks very quickly. Not that radically different. But Inventor is built on a newer solid modeling engine, and it shows. Its much smoother, and has fewer steps to do alot of things.

Now that is gonna be a blast to drive thats for sure, and the D60/14 Bolt combo should be rock solid as well spinning those big meats with all that power. Dang I wish there was a place around here that even just had a place to play with toys like that, even if I had to trailer them there (lift laws **** up here)

Been abit busy lately, but got some work done today. Amps are mounted, working on trim panels now, then box goes back in for good.

Thwe trim panel shown isn't finished being cut yet, just took a pic during an intial fit-up.

Ordered the new head the other day, Alpine IVA-D310, should be here Tuesday. Wish all I had left to do was mount it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Getting to the stages now where Im doing that **** touchy feely make it look pretty and be creative... crap. I hate this part. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I tend to do this slowly. lol

Cheers.
