It is decent at best, everyone rides the producers nuts bc he makes an ok movie every once and a while and plays it off as art. **** that movie, long as shit, the end barely made it worth enduring, but it ended well.

very LOUD looking install. that must be a blast to be listening to while driving over the dunes. I would love to go out there and run around, too bad I'm a few days away and would most likely get high centered pretty quickly on those dunes.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the dunes and beach are great. In the summer lots of trucks, lots of girls, lots of fun.

Made a little progress today. Pulled the box back out to lay out the components, make the RCA's, etc. Took a quick pic for you guys, I know you love pics.

1) he appreciates a real system (ie, the whole **** shabang, mids that will keep up, and subs that sound great etc etc etc)

2) he actually uses his 4x4 trucks for....yes, off roading and utility reasons

i say we just commend him for not being a yuppy with a chromed out f-350 with a 30" lift and 22" rims that cant make a u-turn going 3 miles an hour because the truck will flip. its ok to be a little jealous //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yes, I see those mall-crawler 4x4's out here all the time. The one's with giant rims, almost no rubber, and 1/2 ton axles. The trucks with 27 chrome shocks, mounted to sheetmetal. And of course, the fake plastic blowers sticking out of the hoods. Yes, we have it all out here. The stereo admittedly will start out abit sub-heavy. I'll build the front stage in stages. By the time Im done, Im not sure if the subs will need to be adjusted down to the fronts, or vice versa. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Until then, i'll be using the trusty bass knob religiously.

LaserRed, Im mounting the 701 between the batts but on the box. I'll be making a cover panel to hide the wires, it'll be much easier hiding all those signal cables if they are on the box. Plus that space on the floor will likely be taken up by fuses.

Oh god that reminds me, another thing to add to my to do list... order fuses and make some fuse holders. Oh... anyone know of a 5-way fused distro block?

Im usually not one for making videos. But if this system turns out well, I'll make up one for you guys. Thanks again for all the replies guys. And if anyone has anything negative to add or constructive criticism/better ideas, Im always open for suggestions.
