What are you planning with the 5 ch amp?

Also suggest the Massive Audio NX5.

I have a ppi bk800 in my sons pathfinder and it's been a great amp but then I find the zapco and I've never owned one so just seeing what everybody thinks of the zapco. Mr trumpet, aren't you a dealer for the zapco and haven't you been a dealer for the ppi?

There is one issue with the Zapco ST-5X II. It may not be an issue with you, but the amp's sub channel is not rated for 2 ohlms. If your sub is a 4 ohm sub, then you will have not problems. But, if it is 2 ohms, then you may have issues.

Crap it. I think the little Skar I'm wanting to use it on is 2 ohm. Good call. Other than that is it a "good" amp for the money?

A lot are happy with that Zapco line. I'm trying to sell my amps to "downgrade" to them

For the money, it's a great deal. Don't know why they made the sub channel not 2 ohm stable, although. I think Zapco makes a great line of amp. I am thinking of selling my Arc Audio Kar series amp and getting a Z series amp.

Better efficiency would be my guess. Less strain on the amp. Won't heat up compared to 1 ohm.
