Ok. Walked into work today and saw a printed out e-mail from my boss's nephew to my boss. For lack of a better term, this kid is absolutely retarded.
Background info:
My boss is wealthy, and he's widely known and established for over 30 years in the Economics community. Served as the Chief Economist at the SEC for a few years a while back. He's a strong believer of incentives, so he always pays waaay too much for something to get done, believing it will be done better if you are paying more...which is how this came into play.
This kid went to a community college, one of the better ones in the country. Regardless, still a community college.
First e-mail to my boss was the kid saying blah blah I know I screwed up I don't want any more of your money, etc. Basically asking for a second chance to prove himself.
Reply simple says, "what did you spend the money on?"
Here's the kid's reply, a list of everything he spent money on the semester.

Amount given to his nephew was ~$12,500.

The rest of the money you gave me was spend on marijuana in (location censored). I know this doesn't make up for but it never left my apartment and I never though about dealing it.
