thought out plan of ported enclosure ??

i have been drawing up plans for a few hours and have narrowed it down to 2

it is for 2 re se12's powered by a hifonics bxi2008d with limited space 35x16x17

i have 2 plans that i am thinking of

1: dual chambered approx 1.5 cu ft @ 34hz per sub :29 sq inches of port

or

2: single chambered 3.2cu ft @34hz :58 sq inch of port

i personally like dual chambered for safety reasons(in case a sub goes safety.. not save a child safety) and added bracing.. but have never really played with single chambered ported enclosures before... so i thought about trying it out

what concensus do i have?

i am gonna take some pics when i start on it and through out it's process through the night.. which will be saturday at about 5pm... doing it for a local.. and getting paid for it.. my first truly commissioned box ever

Make sure to add half of the port's width to the ends of those length measurements, jab...because the wall which is also the port wall keeps going, it will still act like the port for about half of the port width out from the actual port ending...so really the port is an inch longer than adding up all the lengths from the center of the port (wont matter that much in this case, but still //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...it'll just lower the tuning a smidge)

35.5 add an inch of length.. drops it down to 35.2somehting-something... not a huge difference.. but thanks for the heads up.. i wasnt really thinking about that.. durp
