Thors 09 Build Log

Thanks! We only live once so why not have fun:D
Steve sent me the shirt! I dig the look of it;)
at what point do you think reconing every week will not be fun anymore? Serious question as I know you're driven and have to do what it takes to reach your goal, but GD that's a lot of work week after week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I tried some diff coil configs with my AQ's and reconed 3 times in the last 3 weeks and I'm SICK of CA glue and reconing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Well I've only reconed these twice so I'm getting better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif No it does get tiring especially having to break all seals to pull out a box to get the subs out etc...

Although things will be much easier soon and I'll be able to leave my enclosure and all testing in place and do normal reconing again i.e. no split baffle.

Robin....I have been using ca glue but it becomes brittle with the dc surrounds so hence forth will only use rubber glue and epoxy on top of that.

Being able to leave the box in place will help a lot. I have 4 15's in a wall and have to pull the seats which isn't that hard.

but 4 recones in a row takes some time, usually 10+ hours from beginning of removal to reinstalled.

Hope the new recones work out for you. Do you have a goal in mind when you'll be "happy" and stop messing with them?
