220amp alt from American Power Systems. That was the cause of me not being able to use previous 12v versions. To high of voltage at 15.2 driving.

hmm, with a stock alt is it bad to run more then one extra batt in the back. sorry i allways wanted to know. i have a single sub stage. i like your new amp

I ran a kinetik 2400 plus the factory batt off my stock alt for a long time with no issues. Had a 5k on it daily that way for a long time.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i have a 03 tiburon with a stock alt , everstart front and a kinetik 1200 in the back and one audioque 1200d and a 12inch mag claw. i just feel like if i go with more power i will need a ho alt. would a bigger battery do m any good?

Yes there are plenty of people who do not have a ho alt. You will just have to charge your batts with a charger....
