WHAT screws are you using to hole the level 5 10's in place?
i should have gotten some stainless, but i used tapcons

Steel self tapping screws. Slightly bigger in diameter than wood screws and much stronger.

I got a question for ya Thor. I see that you take the back off your box to tune it. How do you do that multiples times without fudging up the wood?

You kinda gotta go slow with the drill and finish tightening by hand. Also when you go to seal it use new holes. This time I did a double layer on the back for strength and only sealed it with silicone since I have plans on testing again later. Out of curiosity, with the box slid forward, how many 14k's would you have room for in the trunk now?

Big + on tightening the screws by hand. Set the release on the drill low and finish by hand so you can feel it out.

While SD may have a longer warranty I doubt they would go as far as Stetsom has to take care of me....Oh thats right SD would never answer my inquiries...
