I need to upgrade.. I got two r1 12" and an old school punch 45... Its got bass but im no overly impressed, it barely vibrates the reaview mirror... Would a bigger or better amp prove better results or should I start from scratch... I was thinking about higher end fosgate 12's....

well,

moving to a properly ported box will help your output quite a bit.

additionally moving to a more powerful amp will help you as well

if youre stuck on Fosgate products, the prime 1000 or any of there 1000rms amps will help.

if youre not stuck on fosgate, look into MB quart ONYX, Audiotechnix 1200.1. sundown 1000-1200rms amps.

for subs, the newer p3s are okay. but there are better for the money, sundown sa 12s, e12s, ssa dcon, IA lethal injection,

I dont believe RF even recommends ported enclosures for the R1 subwoofers , I would recommend selling the R1 subwoofers and enclosure and purchasing better. Sub/ subwoofers and have a custom ported enclosure made if you are set on RF use the Punch or power series , I would steer clear of the prime series

The punch 45. Is limited on power but were built like tanks (good amplifiers overall )
