installing amp to after market hu

OK I currently have my amp to stock but looking at installing an am hu. I am installing fronts and a sub bridged to a 4ch amp. So I install the RCA's from hu to amp. Do I still need a harness for the am hu. Also how would I connect the remote wire. I do not need speaker wires due to they are already coming from amp.

The harness for an aftermarket HU is required to wire it up as painlessly as possible so YES, Unless you have a wiring diagram of your vehicle, a DMM, and time to waste ;-) I'd still just buy a harness to hook it up either way. YES - Run the RCA's from your HU to your amp, The remote wire will connect to the new HU and run back to wherever your amp(s) is/are... As for the speakers you are planning on running off of the amp, You will either need to run new wire direct from the amp to each speaker, or you can run wire from the amp to the harness and connect there instead of connecting those speakers to your new HU at the harness... Either way should work, But I prefer running nice new wire to any speakers I plan on amplifying...

i already have 16gauge monster speaker wire going from fronts to amp already, they are not the crap 18gauge, but for the remote wire, can i just lead one from HU into one amp and then from that amp to the 2nd, (i think its called daisy chaining) these amps really are not that powerfull, the one for the fronts and rears will be an alpine mrp f300 its 300 peak 50rms x 4 @ 4ohms and the second may be kicker dx250.1 which is 150rms and that is what the sub is also,
