ok so i just got my system installed yesterday. so its not worn in yet. but when i turn it up, and then i turn it down real fast i can see my sub like sort of deflate when i turn it down. what does this mean????? and is it a bad thing??? thx for everybody who comments

i'm not sure your question makes sense.... it sounds like you're asking if its normal for your sub to have less excursion if it has less power, but i don't think thats what you're trying to ask

No, when i turn my sub up, it starts to expand upwards right. ok so when i turn it down real quick. the sub like deflates because the sub slowly sinks back down. what does this mean???? im guessing since i made the box and its sealed that there is a leak. could my sub blow from this at all???

Ya, there's a leak.

You probably wont hurt the sub, but you're definitely losing output, and sq.

no you wont blow it unless you are overpowering and as for your box leaking yes, very slow leak from what you say, so just go over it again with whatever you used to seal it with and see if that fixed your problem.good luck
