True. In a couple of the pics, you can see the terminals on the back of the speaker cabinets with no wires coming out.

To all talking about the horrible staging, back in the 70's psychoacoustic experiments were done on the number of channels needed to provide a true surround sound experience and I believe the number was either 15 or 20. So, it would actually have better staging than a 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 system.
