i do go to other venues.. i came back here after taking a 2 year break to see if the people i used to talk to still come here..they dont alot of them left...alot of the old mods who were good and didnt take havin moderator powers to their head are some of the very people im referring to..i have been posting in between pieces of vinyl for my box anyhow so im not losing any sleep over audioholic thinking his opinion is only one that counts.. obviously he thinks hes doing a great job but i think the amounts of complaints that happen daily about whats happening here prove otherwise(probably making that up to huh?).. i see daily people get flamed and harasssed for asking a simple question that deserves a simple answer...nobody does anything about it even though its a tech section but if i criticize his lack of effort im an ******* apparently.. even though theres many people in this thread who agree with me..they must be bad guys too? ..pretty much the only regulars who didnt are some of the problems im talking about but whatever ..it is what it is. i was just trying to help he cant stand to be told hes not doing top notch job i suppose.. i wanted to see companies come back like there used to be here cause there isnt any now but if you goto any other car audio forum theres a lot of them.. i dont want to say a number i will be held to that exact number..,company reps have said what im saying and left because of this.. they are out of line too obviously.
your not right though..you honestly think this place is better now? i mean honestly... you cant cause its not even close this was a nice forum man and its not like it was at all but hey im just complaining... pay attention you will probably notice alot of people do about this issue.
your exaggerating the lack of a problem bud. you can say what you want about me but i dont see company reps here and ive seen company reps cite the exact reason they dont come here anymore.. i have examples if you wish?

I have never once here referred to my effectiveness as a moderator. Yet another of your figments.
You see people get flamed daily for asking car audio questions, you dont hit the report post button, and then get bent when the moderators dont see the violation and take action. How many different ways, in how many different threads today, must I point out the hypocrisy in that/your stance?
You see harassment, report it. Jesus Christ, how hard is that? I made that point earlier, and your reply was something to the effect of why should you have to report 95% of the threads here. You are here demanding the moderators do something about your perceived problem, while simultaneously also saying its too much bother for you to even bring these posts to the moderator's attention.
If you think moderators calling everyone they disagreed with a "***", the random bannings due to personal feelings or games of hangman, shared moderator accounts/power with friends, etc...made for a nice forum, then obviously this forum is not for you any longer. No hard feelings.
Feel free to post any actual examples you want, some real facts from you would be a nice change of pace. But let me remind you, the more strict rules of the tech sections have only been in place a few months now, I dont think any realistic person expected a bunch of manufacturers to flock back the second we started cracking down on the problems with this forum. Clearly what we've done, and the time frame we've done it in, isn't good enough for you. Sorry? You are welcome to find a site that better fits your needs. If you think anyone is holding you hostage here, you are mistaken.
