this forum has gone so far downhill since i joined 7 years ago and its not funny... i left for awhile(like a lot others) because of the massive amounts of forum trolls.. why doesnt the mods/admin do something to make this site better again? i mean its so bad you have zero companies that frequent it anymore.. i can remeber a time when you could ask a question here...and not get a response like "figure it out yourself *******" or "your equipment ***** buy new"..you actually got help for your problem.this is a pretty pathetic car audio help forum compared to the other bigger ones anymore...really hope it gets better soon or there will be pretty much 0 people here for car audio and a gaggle of trolls flaming each other worst than it is now...

It has taken a turn for the worse.......I have infractions,warnings and all kinda noobish threats made upon me - its kiddie land

I blame the ADMIN and MODS..........Used to be a great resource for car audio,good jokes,titys and azz.......

This site is way down hill... for one there are 5x as mant posts in the T-Dome as all of the other combined.. So really its more of a chat then a car audio site.. you got trolls like above with 25k+ posts and 99% are in the tdome. They are idiots and do nothing to help the site. they have nothing to bring to the table as far as car audio is concerned.. ya you can report this and that and get the posts taken away but really what they need are some very large wide spread bans to romove most of the trolls who permiate the site.. but they are getting a slap on the wrist or making another name. as long as it continues this is the way it will be. wqhen goob and the mods finally decide to start laying down the law it will be too late./. I could give a **** less. the handful of people on this entire site that could possibly have an answer to any of my problems i have on my chat bar.. other then that its just a good place to burn time when your bored

The general board alone has more threads than the thunderdome does.

And no, the t-dome does not have 5x as many posts as all other sections combined, its pretty even. With the difference in thought put into replies ITT, versus in the tech sections, that does not surprise me at all.

Maybe the fact that you need to completely make up facts, like that the t-dome has 5x as many posts, should be your clue that your argument has some flaws.

As for your complaints on trolls, you admit that rules exist to keep them from harassing other members and ruining threads in every section except the thunderdome, so if those types of replies bother you, maybe staying out of the thunderdome would be a good idea.

As for trouble makers returning with a new name, you are full of complaints, but short on facts. Goob can IP ban people, but that runs the risk of banning other people in the area, since an IP is not specific to a single address or person. This has been explained umpteen times already. As for 'laying down the law', we take action for every single time we find, or have reported to us, a broken rule. How much more laying down the law do you expect?

Its funny how I keep going back and forth between threads where people complain about over-moderating, and threads where people complain we aren't banning enough people. I dont think you realize the tight rope moderators here have to walk.

well you and the admin have threads asking what to do to make this site better..i make a thread to tell you the biggest problem ..look how many people have agreed and how much this thread alone has been trolled... do i really need to spend ALL day reporting 95% of the posts everyday? i mean i see you respond in alot of threads also so you see whats going on..you guys turn a blind eye apparently...rules dont really matter it seems.. you can say your "trying" to improve the trolling problem but until people have to actually pay consequences and its not tolerated at all outside the dome nothing will change.. if you dont see that maybe your not paying attention like you previously said i must not be?

You are just getting annoying now. Do you have any real complaint, or just more of this piss and vinegar? Earlier today you claimed "75-80%" of threads in the tech section "get trolled hardcore", when I called you out on it, you shut up and moved on to some other thread to make your same outrageous claims and then piss and moan about them. After reading your 75-80% claim, I made a point to spend quite a while going through threads in the tech sections, looked at dozens of threads, only had to take disciplinary action in one instance. One. Now you claim its "95%" of the threads need to be reported. Whatever.

yeah there is people who arent immature 10yr olds living with mommy on here but the majority of the people posting alot of days seems to be mostly trolls and you shouldnt have to skim through 6 pages of trolling/arguing to find an answer to a simple car audio question.

How do you know what the "majority of the people posting alot of days"? You just came back from a long absence, and all the sudden you are an expert on current trends on this site. Let me guess, you've been reading, just not replying... and apprently you have been reading with your eyes closed, because the tech sections are MUCH better than they were under mods like ngsm. Ive come to the conclusion you dont have a clue what you are talking about. When goob asked for opinions how to improve the site, he didnt mean for people to just make up facts, figures, and imaginary problems. Does the site have more to improve? Obviously. But you really seem to have no idea what state the site is currently in. Lets continue this conversation when you've been back a while, actually know the rules here, and have been present long enough to comment on current trends.

some noob *** question about how "many watts my sub puts out". I can't even get CarAudioForum to register me under 2 different mail accounts, and no response to PM. Yes, there's a **** load of BS posts, trolls, and downright ridiculous replies, but mostly from what I've read theres someone with some decent advice. So man, if there's some place better out there, let me know. But for now, something is better than the nothing else I can get. (And I don't mean wet *****)
