haha I dont think that is what they are saying. I think those screws have always been that close together and that far from the center of that wood. I do not think the OP noticed in excitement to get his sub installed. Later on, he came back and saw how crappy the box was put together. So you guys are saying it was fine until he used it for a few months and then all of a sudden screws started popping out the sides?
negatory good sir, it was great when i first got the box. there were no imperfections. and so far, you're the only one so far on this thread that claims he does a bad job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifI don't understand why people don't check everything when you buy it or receive it. You wait until now? Is it because of the uproar of bad boxes from Vitveet? From the boxes I have seen, his work is pretty ******. I would never buy from him. That doesn't look like water damage and why would only the inside panel of the port on the corner have water damage when your whole box isn't damaged at all? Unless he had the piece that had water damage on it already and decided to use it anyways, but it still doesn't look like swelling. I think its screws too close to the edge and wall to many close to each other like that. Can someone actually show GOOD work done by Vitveet?
i check my stuff out all the time when i get it shipped to me. i abhor even the littles blemishes when i buy my stuff brand spanking new. i looked inside that port, and i would never have been able to tell that screws were too close together at first, one, because it was painted on, and two, it hadn't shriveled up like that yet. i guess in due time, after countless hours of play, it just gave out? yes, though poorly made. :\haha I dont think that is what they are saying. Not trying to hate on anyone. I have had MANY MANY boxes with uncentered screws that have looked like that. Actually, since I dont take much time on my boxes, they all **** pretty bad.
Yep. It's screws. This is 110% obvious to ANY box builder.
The screws are not centered in the MDF. They are too close to the edge, that caused the bowed look.
Also, the screws are FAR too close together. They should never be closer than 4-5" to one another, otherwise you risk splitting the MDF.
Water-damage/mold....no...just NO.
x2 i doubt he will. like the guy said in the earlier poast. 4th thread about his enclosures and he's never shown up and defend himself. sigh. he was a really good guy too..SO will he come in here and argue anything? probably not.
