This doesn't look right..

Now, i got my box from vitveet, 3.5 cubes, port tuned to 32hz, double baffle. i've had it for a few months now, and so i do a random check up on the box in the back, and i see this inside the port.

at the very back, you see it kind of protruding out, and i got back there and i feel a little gap to where that flap kind of juts out. and then it's just wavy all the way towards the outside of the port. what could this be due to? just a poorly made box?

and also, this is going to greatly affect the sound quality of the sub?

yes sir it is, it's never had water damage. always been inside the trunk. i never open the trunk in the rain. i know it looks like it, but i have no idea how it happened. maybe my sub sometimes likes to urinate.

i honestly don't know what happened.

perhaps it is the humidity. it gets pretty dank hot here in texas. :\

Looks likes a lot of screws on the edge of the MDF...you can see one in the first pic sticking out. Screws will make MDF bulge like that when screwed in very close to the edge.
