Well my car sucks lately and everything wants to stop working, so i am thinking of getting a new one...

My budget will probably be between 8-9,000...What are some good reliable used cars that i could possibly look into....Dont want a very small car either, im a tall guy. Just something reliable with some power that wont break down every other day

It's is plenty reliable if you take care of it, it's sexy, it looks good, fits tall people, has power and can make more power for very little money... AWD DSM //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The best looking I think is the 97-99 Eclipse GSX

2001 Dodge Stratus R/T

idk how they are performance wise, but they look pretty good stock/custom.

Is there any american car that is reliable? Because mine is getting worse and worse, and i would really prefer rear wheel drive, is there any that meet this criteria and price range or do i have to get an import?

american cars are getting alot better, but im not sure there'd be to much you'd want to look at in that price range. i'd probably look at a Mitsubishi Diamante or something of the sort. you could get a lexus SC300 which is a Supra with a longer wheelbase (slightly, and its non turbo of course)... there are alot of options. you could get an older M3 an E36, i think they look great

if your looking for reliability stay away from a grand prix, every small problem seems to go wrong, but i still love my car!
Ive heard alot of bad things about gp's, I think those problems are mainly based around the SE 3.1's, and the supercharged GTP's, ive never had a problem with my gt 3.8 although the torgue converter has been acting funny and my car onyl has 63,000 miles.

As to chris id look into a monte carlo that would be the next car id buy. Its a shame your camero is taking craps on you. Thats probably one of the nicest camero's ive seen i like the color scheme alot. My buddy had has problems with his 94 i think id also stay away from the older TA's
