A few of my friends cars have been broken into and all audio stolen. One thing I've noticed about all of them is they don't park in a garage. They all had alarms too! and not shitty alarms either. an alarm cant stop someone from smashing ur window in. but i've heard that some thieves target cars without alarms. so they CAN help sometimes.

Think about it like this. You park at Wal-mart, while you're walking up to the door you hear a car alarm go off, do you look to see why ? Most people dont like they used to, an alarm will only keep an honest thief away. If they really want what you have, they will work through the alarm most of the tiem.

ive heard you can put a magnet on the hood over where the battery sits and over a hour or so it will drain the battery thus no alarm? true? also they sell little spare battery things for your alarm incase this happens...and no alarms dont stop anything. 2way remote, day time and fvcker still smashed my window for gps....time to move and now no more problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

They work.. Mine has sensor that does off to broken window.. proximity sensor that dgoes off if someone hangs around the window too long.. tilt sensor if they jack the thing up and got the pager next to me.. i am from okla so obviously there is the ole sawed off in the corner so if someone wants to take a chance at beating my alarm have at it
