The War on Drugs.

Correct.
Check out some of his short interviews on youtube. As my sig says, make up your own mind.

Ron Paul has one hell of a backbone and sticks to the constitution. Now, I honestly dont believe he'll be able to rid taxes (nor would I expect that to happen) but everything else the man says makes sense. I just dont see how that would work at this time & age.
huh

Being against the war on drugs seems kinda democratic..

Im a democrat but this guy doesnt seem to bad I like his views on taxes

He's not pragmatic.

He should run a traditional conservative campaign and then bite everybody in the *** once he's taken office.

That was my reaction as well. My 1st thought about Ron Paul was "This guys a Republican? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif " but out of the bunch, hes the only one who doesnt grab me as a W.Bush wanabe. Not the mention this years democratic bunch seems to be about as sharp as a marble. If this guy gets into the main voting, I dont see how he wouldnt become the pres.

From what Ron Paul worded it as, he IS what a true Republican is.

sorry to be off topic, but seeing cotjones talk really makes me glad there aren't people like him in my part of the country.
You mean teenagers? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Sorry but they're everywere. The thread jack should be taken care of soon enough.

Wow, I'm quite amazed that Ron Paul is declared a republican too. And most of the democrats do seem to have their major flaws here and there, but I really like Kucinich. He too has a couple views that I don't exactly see eye to eye with, but he seemed like the only plausible candidate until I saw Ron Paul.

This is kinda off topic, but yes eveyone should read up on Ron Paul. He can really help this country. Doesnt matter if he is Republican or not. The parties dont matter anymore, they are all full of people who just want power and money. You have to vote for the person not just the party.

I don't know what to say, other than Ron Paul is the man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

When I said I never cared for any politician, I was serious. Yet alone try to shove one down someones throat.

Hell the last election I didnt even care for because I didnt like either one running. Ron Paul though, im confident enough about this guy to say just listen to any of his short interviews & make up your own mind.

thats the problem right there
That's pretty much the problem with any candidate that is worthy of being voted into presidency. As it so happens, most candidates that care more about money than anything else tend to have a lot more of it...

Kucinich is one of those ethical, trustworthy, does what he says, consistent politicians, but I lean away from him for his utterly pacifist attitude even if attacked or threatened, and the general Democrat nanny/welfare-state mindset. Ron Paul has all the qualities but he would take out anyone who tries to attack us (WITH Congressional approval to officially declare war), but leave them alone when they're not a threat, and wants to minimize governmental intervention in our lives.

When I first got tuned-in to Ron Paul I was actually studying up on some finance issues and saw a clip with Ron Paul explaining. Then I looked up more information on him and was floored. After over 15 years of voting finally here's a candidate I can actually fully and proudly support.

It's about friggin' time. Now let's get him nominated in the Primaries. Most states require Primary voters to be registered in the party they're voting for. I changed my "undeclared" registration to "Republican" just so I can vote Ron Paul in the Primary election.

Prison should be for people who hurt other people, not themselves. We don't jail people for merely drinking. We jail people when they drink and drive or hurt another human
he's got a point...

Drug addiction is a medical and moral problem that should be treated by professionals, not dumped on the criminal justice system. Setting up a national commission of medical professionals to develop an intelligent program, based on the experience of drug experts from around the world, would be a first step. Allowing doctors to treat drug addiction humanely and intelligently, including the prescription of maintenance doses, would allow us to quickly eliminate most of the black market and much of the damage to a safe, free, and just America.

Yeah, if Kucinich and Paul ran together some how, I would devote my life to publicizing them. Unfortunately, separately, they both have huge downfalls. To me, Kucinich is almost too much of a pansy pacifist and votes for some of the weirdest fucking issues. For Ron Paul, it's that he doesn't support government spending in the form educational assistance, which is very important to me because I'm not the type of person that can get a full scholarship to a decent school.
