and another angle of the test fit..
A double test fit
really making use of those spare baskets. Wishing i had spare 12 baskets too.
the one on the right, it looks like it doesnt fit......thats because it didnt, but it did after sanding down the ring a bit.
Yet another angle of the fitting.
Here is a decent shot of the port. Port is Double baffled. I actually connected the double port baffle to the double front baffle, before i doubled the front up. that ay i didnt have to screw through 2 baffles, and expect enough of the screw to get inside the port baffle, to actually hold the two together.
another angle
Night shots of the side again. I took lots of pics of the side for whatever reason
and the moneyshot.
thats both baffles, and both ports, sitting in the box, but not attached in any way. I actually screwed screws through the box from the inside, at the top of where the port would "sit", in an attempt to add "runner" lines for the port, since i did the project solo, i neded as much help as i could get, and that worked out quite well.
Another money shot
Another thing that i did not photograph, was the brace, that runs right up the middle of the front baffle. It was somewhat difficult, to conjur, but once i got everything sorted out, it was rather easy. In the end, it was more like a capital I i created the brace, and screwed it to the top, and the port, both from the inside. No noticable flex in the front, due to this.
I think you can see the brace in that one. lol, in order to get the whole front/port/brace piece attached, i had to Kick that bish in there. literally, i had my back against the dash board on one side, and the steering wheel on the other, and kicked it until it was in.
this thing is glued, screwed and bolted in now. forgot to get pics of the bolts, but there is about half a bottle of glue, lots of liquid nails, and about 100 screws holding the box to the dancefloor, as well as some additional bracing that will be added the next time i remove the subs.
