The W7: Ported or Sealed?

I used to have a pair of the original JL Audo 12W3-D4's sealed running off a MTX 2300x, and it had some of the deepest lowest bass I've ever heard, and this was in the trunk of my civic... Those same subs also sealed, sounded amazing in the hatch of my old 95 ***** Am.

Why ported? Just for the SPL? What if he just wanted SQ?
Jut curious if the vote would be the same.

Yeah, that is the reason why everyone emphasized the low tuning. If tuned low and ported it will have very good SQ as well as getting loud.

PORTED AND LOW, doesn't matter if you're looking for sq or spl.

If you can find a way to fit it, W7's scream with a T-line.
