its actually coming out really good he just needs to get some new halo headlights for it finish up the body work a little and then paint and he's set it looks pretty cool right now other than the paint but he's working on it he actually got the wide body kit from a 90 acura integra cause they dont make them for his 93

That's ignorant.

To each his own I guess.

And I just got back from getting metal for the ceiling, im going to be laying it out and precutting it for when I go get it welded in place. Pics later

And I also won a door pack of ss damplifier pro from caco //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so that will be going in as well once I get it

Yesterday I tore everything off of the ceiling including the upholstery, sunroof motor, lights, visor, etc. to start filling everything with expanding foam and seal everything up, then head to a buddys and get metal welded in lines front to back with cross-supports welded between them, with the sunroof welded shut, inside painted black, deadened, then metal welded over it so I dont have to worry about it down the road, its taken quite a beating. I just really want to stop all rattles in the ceiling and after this is done there wont be any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Pics when it happens
bro

make sure to foam after you weld....started quite a few fires that way myself in my car.

Im assuming you guys tat weld in roof braces end up having to get your roof repainted? Im guessing it would melt/bubble the paint. If you care anyways

How much bracing are you talking about, like 1 or 2 pieces front to back or like a whole structural system

all welding will be on the outside structure/supports and the exterior of the car on those has panels that are spaced away from the support that can either be taken off for welding or since they arent really a part of it and have a space between them and the supports I think the paint will be just fine, besides, the actual roof of my car that's painted is plastic and wouldnt have any welds very close to it.

And there will be a fair amount of bracing...not going buck wild with it, but not just a couple either

And guys, how would u suggest 'holding' the 2-part foam up in the ceiling area for curing? Will it be sticky enough to just have it made up in sections and just stick it up there?

Got a little work done a bit ago. I cut off 2 flimsy pieces of very thin sheet metal that were just shaking/rattling a bunch and then foamed some more (no pics of the foaming)

More cell pics..

And in that second pics, the piece with what looks like velcro marks on it was also taken out. When I leave tonight im hoping to have a much more solid sounding ride. The area where these piece were is where I plan on having a couple supports welded in and the area filled
