The Right Dog??

Boxers look nice, I just never looked up too much info on them. Yeah my Husky was definatly a Digger!!! But again its what they do. I do have a big back yard and he always got time to burn his energy. Go on walks, runs, and had playtime. BUy you guys are right. I think any dog can turn aggressive with the right (or wrong) action. I guess it's the way they are raised since young and how you treat them when older. That husky story sucked !! And I know they are seen as an aggressive breed because some insurance companies wont insure your house if you tell them you have a husky. I think also because some people THINK they are mix with wolf. So anybody got any experiance with AKITAS ?????

One of my family members has an Akita...........problem is I don't know if they still have it, because we never talk to them, because they are assholes!

Or we are assholes, which ever, but we don't talk, lol!

i have 2 huskies. 1 black male. 1 red female. best dogs i've ever owned. the red female is extremely smart. so much so, that she can be a pain. opening gates and doors. she tricks the male all the time and steals his food.

Honestly though, should check into a lab. Awesome family dogs! Will probably be what I look into once we purchase our house sometime next year......or the year after. The red one is beautiful! The other one looks like it has the devil inside, lol!

the black male is a physical specimen. very strong, and endless energy. the red female is a little smaller, and uses her brains more than her muscle. the bottom pic is the female snarling, when i fake spank my daughter. smartest dog i ever had. her smarts actually make it hard to train her.

we let the female have puppies a couple years back. she had 5, which we sold for 200$ per puppy.

Oh, I know all about the dog being too smart and how it is harder to train them. I help my parents out when I can with the current German Shephard they have and man is she a bare to train.........but very smart! 10 months old right now. Hoping she starts to listen to them the older she gets. Right now, she don't want too and is an alpha male type thing between her and my parents........and she is a female, lol!

Yeah they are loyal, but never noticed them to be over protective, but I never owned one, just have friends and family who have and just seemed like a good family dog.

I love boxers when they are puppies, besides that, not the dog for me. Grow up to be dumb as shit and always looks pissed off........and yes very hyper. That is how stupid they are.

My Boxer is not stupid, but she has to be motivated to be trained. When it comes to brains she is average I would say.

However, she knows what she needs to get along with the family. I think where Boxers excell is in their understanding of how to treat different family members different. Mine roughouses with me, but only me. She is never the least bit aggressive with the kids.

It sounds like someone needs to cut the nuts off of that dog you are talking about.
