The Punch 200aIV - High Pass, Low Pass question

The amp is 4 channels and has the cross-over options Low Pass, All, and High pass for the 2 front and 2 rear channels. The two front channels are wired to speakers and the rear two are bridged to the sub (8" Sundown)

The sub sounds all right when playing all frequencies but it is barely audible on low or high pass.

Any input?

low pass is for subs and high pass is for tweeters and all is for mids i believe. it filters the frequencies to the speakers.

I understand that - my issue is the sub only plays when all frequencies are active (ie. you can hear lyrics coming out of the sub)

read page 20 of this manual....it says to reverse the polarity of the sub if the front channel is set to high pass and the rear channel is set to low pass......this is when running 3 channel like you are doing.

hope it helps....thats the good thing about rockford fosgate...you can get ANY manual for ANY and everything they have ever made since the early 80's and if the amp is discontinued,they will give you the schematics for that amp if you ever need it to repair yourself.
