What the hell is SPL dust?

I used to have two R10's in my buick regal with a chitty Visonik 1500mono block. THe R's sounded awesome, the amp bit the dust trying to push em.

Would love to have a pair of 12's but I got t5's for now.

I've never had the chance to see what db number mine are putting, but it's loud as fock.

two 12 on a bxi1606d 4.6ft/cu 32hz... the whole car is full of dynamat xtrem, still it shake the metal sheet so loud ... i wish my car was a little more solid

 
I'm gonna wake this thread up again lol I want to run 1 12" type R in my 85 scottsdale I only have 7 inches of bottom depth space ( can get more if I move my seat up ) and about 60" width and 20" height Is that enough space for this sub if so could yall give me some ideas on a box ( gonna make my own ) and a good amp to power the sub

 
Anybody have a good ported box design in the 30Hz range for me, I am a noob to this stuff but have acquired two new 12" type R's and have a Hifonics 1600 going to them but need a really good box for Sq AND SPL if you got one!! Please HELP! Plans are really all I need!
