i'm thinking of a 4 12's setup and running 2 txa1000d's to each pair. Powered down to 1ohm. the txa ran my 15 with more than enough power and those amps are very cheap right now and very easy on my electrical.

CUrrently i am getting 400 watts out of the m450 at 2ohms so i would be going up 400 watts by getting the m850. Even though the wattage would be doubled I doubt the sub loudness would be. Correct?

Well I bought two 12in Type R's off Ebay yesterday. It was listed as brand new and sealed in the box. I paid $160 total for them and $60 for shipping. I get a good deal? Now I have to wait for them to get here gah.

I'm thinking of buying an alpine type r 15 inch...right now I have a pretty big box I'm guessing some where around 2.5 cubic feet with 2 round ports about 4 inches x 8 inches long. will this box be to big? it is tuned low because it hits lows pretty well with my maw 15.

aight if my ported box is a little small I could pop the ports out and board them off...then i would be running 2.5 sealed. How would that sound with a type r 15?
