all of you get out and hear the subs you're asking about.. some other guy on the internet might hate loud music.. and you might love it.. and you'll want different speakers all around.

the l7 and the type R are both very good subs.. in different price ranges.. for different purposes..

it's like comparing the escalade to the kia rio.. two very different things.

go to a shop.. i'm sure the local best buy/circuit city/brandsmart usa/ one of those stores, has those subs you can hear.. they are pretty popular and not too expensive to be knocked out of nationwide retail stores
