The Official Type R Thread

Well since everyone around here seems to think its such a huge secret about enclosure sizes, im doing the 2.3cuft @ 32Hz...

I will post pics, and TL #'s when its all ready to go.

Atleast give people an idea of sizes...

And I will tell everyone that asks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So a big middle finger everyone that wont share information.... You think you have knowledge about something that isnt such a hard thing to do, you just gotta do it.

So a big F U to Spkrman, and custel.... You think you have knowledge about something that isnt such a hard thing to do, you just gotta do it, and I will.

I challenge both of you to a SPL contest with the SAME equipment, and we will see who knows more about what.

I have a 12" Type-R, and a MRD-M1005... You guys have that exact same equipment, or custel does, and I know you live around each other...

... and dont say thats not enuff power or the amps ****. We will go with the numbers that you have said, we will split it in the middle, and say 700W... see who can do the best with that amount of power.

Up for it?
Should sound great. I'm running mine in a 1.8cuft tuned to 33hz and it sounds great and can get plenty loud. Build that box and share your knowledge....

That's not what my problem was...my problem with this thread was that this same question has been answered literally two dozen times over the course of the past week. I couldn't give a shit about the product bandwagon, but for the love of Christ, learn to search.

Just tell me one thing before you delete this.

How many watts would youe give a 2005 12" type r in a ported box it will be for my daily driver in a truck and it will probly get cranked up alot so i need something that wont blow it.
