I shall. Thank you for telling me this.not at all....spkrman did a bunch of testing.....the r had the best output overall, do some searching on here and check it out.
lol...well someone is interested in trading for my 12's just wondering whether or not it would be smart...i myself have never heard any RE sub. so i figured i would ask before i was kicking myself for it.I think you know what you are starting here
it was the new ones he was testing...not positive but i think he had a 10" type r with 2 EDnine.1's strapped and burped a 148.something...not sure ill look for the link and post it for you.I shall. Thank you for telling me this.
Also, was this test with the new R's, or the older ones? What happened to the Rs? I mean, now they're rated 500 rms and all, and people are starting to praise them on a higher level than before. It seems like one year they're a budget sub, next year they're the ideal sub.
At first I thought you were referring to the question I asked on page 9 on the Type R thread, when comparing a pair of Type R 12s versus a single SX12. I was a little confused over why you posted as the 15 inch SX if you were mocking me... but, nevermind. Just turned on a lightbulb in my head considering it was posted right after my initial question in the other thread.
completely different woofer than '04....definitely a wayyyyy better sub this year...and the surround is different on the '05's...not sure why but it does make it look a hell of a lot better...so does the a$$ end of it to.What separates a 2004 Type R 12 from a 2005 Type R 12? Does anybody know?
Also, I'm looking on ikesound, ebay, etc... and the pictures I'm seeing of these 2005 R's, the surrounds look rather wierd... it's not a smooth curve in the rubber like all of the other woofers I looked at. Are these pictures just, odd, or what? Just thought I'd ask.
ohhh nah man....someone wants to trade my 2 12's for an SX 15....3rd shift here as well!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifAt first I thought you were referring to the question I asked on page 9 on the Type R thread, when comparing a pair of Type R 12s versus a single SX12. Back to work. Third shift owns.
actually i havent even hooked them up yet...only had them for about 2 weeks...they are still in the plastic......i guess your right though, i just cant seem to make up my mind.HeHe.. Well bro, first off.. how do you like your Type R's? If you have no problems with them, and they sound nice.. why switch shit up? Yea, I'm sure an SX 15 is nice and all but.. if I were you and I was going to get a SX 15.. atleast get a brand new one. You could be running into someone elses problems.. and since you have never heard an SX.. I'd defintly stick with what I got //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
*EDIT*
Atleast YOU know that there are no problems with your subs right? I mean.. why trade off for something that might be defective.. Thats just my way of looking at it.. Why make things complicated if your already satisfied with what you have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
